Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School Luncheon and Breakfast

Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School will hold two alumni/ae gatherings during the New Baptist Covenant Celebration & Joint Winter Board Meeting:

Wednesday, January 30, at noon for lunch
and
Friday, February 1, at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast.

Both events will be held at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel, 265 Peachtree Center Ave.

The Rev. Dr. Aidsand F. Wright-Riggins III, Executive Director, National Ministries, ABCUSA, will be the guest speaker at the lunch.  Dr. Wright-Riggins III, an honorary chair of the committee to fully fund The Martin Luther King, Jr. Endowed Chair for Social Justice and Black Church Studies at CRCDS, will discuss the historical and continuing importance of the Black Church Studies Program at the seminary.

At the breakfast, Dr. Melanie A. May, Vice President for Academic Life, Dean of Faculty and John Price Crozer Professor of Theology, will share reflections from her recent sabbatical, and Dr. Annie Marie LeBarbour, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, will give a brief update of current events at CRCDS.

American Baptist Churches USA Breakfast

Seats have been added to the American Baptist Breakfast, Saturday, Feb 2, 8 to 10 a.m. at the Atlanta Sheraton, following the New Baptist Covenant. Some 250 Baptists have already registered to hear the new General Secretary of the Baptist World Alliance, Rev. Dr. Neville Callam, speak at the breakfast. Thanks to a generous donation from the American Baptist Ministers Council, another 100 seats are now available at no cost. To attend, register here.
